2020 viper have new Ecu mapping

Same here. I had pretty much decided that it was time to order a Winder. If they made a big improvement to the Viper that would change my mind. My worry now is if they picked the front end up to more of a snow cross setup I would want to introduce some sag to the front to keep the flat...

2020 viper have new Ecu mapping

Only reason it would change is if there is a significant change in air delivery.

2020 Viper - new airbox and intake!

I think they use 125 as generic for 600 class. Viper has always been around 130 HP.

2020 Viper - new airbox and intake!

Totally agree. Especially if the new front end helps with handling.

2020 Viper - new airbox and intake!

I got it and it rode home in a trailer. Time killed the ride home idea.

2020 Viper - new airbox and intake!

My understanding from a conversation yesterday is the intake takes in more air, is shorter and direct. Overall more and colder air is being fed.

    2020 Release

And, if you did the same to a Winder you would be at the same place, no? 900T is a good motor and fills a void in performance. If Doo would take that thing they call a throttle off it and fix fuel delivery it would be an option as you can fix the twitchy handling with setup.

    2020 Release

With modern sleds any 600 that can do a true 95 MPH is fast. Viper in the right conditions and right mods will do that all day long. Triple digits are obtainable with new map, gearing, and header. The new Poo is quick, but the big end still isn't there. From a dead stop within 1/4 mile the...

2020 viper have new Ecu mapping

If the intake change is as good as claimed I think the 8% increase isn't a stretch. Intake mod on old Viper was worth 4 or 5 without mapping.

2020 viper have new Ecu mapping

Exactly, I think that was their goal. If shift out is what they claim they also took care of having to add a clutch kit to make it run. I just wish they put a new can on it at the same time. Then I could ride it stock and be happy.

    2020 Release

A Viper a turd? I'll put my Viper up against any sled in the 600 class it is in and not have an ounce of doubt regarding the outcome. And before anything is said, yes I did mod it. Nothing crazy though, just intake, exhaust, and clutching. At the same time I also know that with the same level...

2020 viper have new Ecu mapping

From talking to the same person that gave me the info I posted a month ago regarding the 2020 direction this is what I've gathered. The flash is an entirely new flash that was developed to remedy a couple of the problems that plagued the viper starting and idle issues as well as optimize the...

    2020 Release

A lot of complaining about what didn't come out in the new lineup. Did anyone really expect a new Apex like chassis with a 2 stroke 6,000 HP, nitrous funny car motor? I think it is simple, if you don't like what Yamaha put out and want a new sled look at a Poo or Ski-Doo, or an Arctic Cat...

Now, I did tell you a 2 stroke was not coming about a month ago. Not surprised by anything today except I thought there would be something to replace the phazer.

If so, that would get my money much quicker than a stretched Winder.
