Need some help guys. I have a blown up 2008 phazer and I bought a good 2010 engine without the stator side. Can any of you tell me what this wire is? I have not found where the manual references it.
Thank you
Lee
Yes both are at stock values. I would find it odd though that it now needs to be adjusted I have put 8000 miles on this sled. Maybe injectors?? Yes TPS did check out.
Put new plugs, emptied the tank and put fresh gas in. Still stumbled. Then i let it idle for 2-3 minutes and after that it was fine. Seemed opposite of what you stated ATV PRO and maim. I let it cool and cleaned the shop, then tried again. Stumbled yet again, so i let it idle for 2-3 min. Then...
I am still experiencing the exact same thing you all have covered here. Same stumbling. Thanks for this thread and all the info in it.
Things i have tried:
Swapped Coils
Checked pins at coils
swapped ECUs
Checked pins at ECU
Retied the wiring at ECU
Cleaned airbox
Checked TPS in diagnostic...
You can try to plunging straight in on the spline. Either way interrupted cuts on a smaller lathe is a pain. If that is all i have left i would try just taking 0.005-0.010 a pass till you are past the spline and then do a final axial feed pass.
Great work looks like fun.
Well the phazer is fixed.
Here is what I did:
Checked TPS in diagnostic mode (good)
Removed the tank
Emptied all the fuel
Found another clamp off the exhaust (second time)
Check resistance in the coils (good)
Changed plugs
Cleaned and greased many electrical connections (ECU connections...
You're right it seems similar. When you talk in terms of throttle percentage it does seem like that 20-30% maybe even up to 50% at times there is a big stumbling.
I have been getting the Phazer ready for the season and it has developed a very large stumble between 6000 and 8000 RPMS.
I have done the typical things such as drain the fuel and replaced with fresh. Also checked plugs and added some seafoam. None of which seemed to help at all.
I searched...
Downstream rapids like this is what finally bent the hull and knocked my motor out of alignment last fall.
I will try to get some more videos put together.
Finally got the boat out this last week after a couple months of repairs. I had some major hull work to do after last season. A lot of bracing has been added now that it is back straight again. I also redid my motor mounts.
