Yes very solid there is no movement once you clamp the lever. Everything is plenty long no reason to extend anything and I think if a person wanted to they could go to 10" I think there is that much slack. I have about 700 miles on it and it hasn't loosened up on a ride.

The aluminum adjustment shaft
It's hard to see in picture but all of the threads are pitted and the end is really bad. The threaded pice would barely turn with the Allen key.

Is the bearing different on the 16 shaft or can we use the better bearing me sled found a couple years ago? I think I'm just going to the 16 shaft this summer when I go through everything. Do we have a thread yet for all the parts needed to switch over?

I'm more of a 60-40 rider mostly trail with some off trail drift banging. Ya I've already changed my weights from 2-0-3 to 4-0-1 with the red spring. The weights only helped a little bit on bottom but changed rpm up top 200-300 rpm (I'm right around 8800-8950 wot with the red spring not sure...

What is the difference between the pink and ulmers red? I'm on the limiter a lot with his setup. It might be worth it just to switch out and try with how easy it is to change secondary springs.
