I agree it goes without saying that it's a MUST to tie sleds down some how some way on an open trailer. The debate is when trailering them in an enclosed.
Easiest way is to place both winshields together off the sled and put the mounting screws thru both shields and screw in the block a couple of turns. Do this to all the mounting screws and pop both shields in place where they attach on the hood. Tighten them down. Then take the plastic screw all...
I was wondering how many people just set the parking brake of their sled when trailering your sled somewhere instead of using ratchet straps. I talked to a guy and he said he never straps his sleds down in his enclosed he just sets the parking brake and they never move. Just wanting others...
Oh yeah get two 8' sections of ski runners like what you have on your trailer. Lay them down in your bed between the wheel wells. It makes unloading the sled easy because the carbides aren't digging into your bed.
Also a cool thing about that ramp is the center section has the trail gate...

Just wondering how many of you are running you skis in the widest setting. My C&A Pro Razors are wider than my stock Tuner skis and with the spacer on the out side my Ski stance is 49" outside to outside. Anyone know what is the widest allowable on the trail?? In Illinois on the I&M canal there...
