This is who I was talking about. Wonder what his new job really is? Hard to believe he isn't working with cat on something. Nothing in the last few years really needed any engineering other than the stryke ski and eps...
On one of Jared's sledtalk, they had on one engineer that resigned with yamaha after they closed the r&d location in minoqua. He must be doing something.
This wasn't directed at just you. There have been alot of people attacking Yamaha/Jaret on here. But awesome that he reached out and you are happy. Hope you get it soon.
I can understand people being upset, but attacking Jaret is wrong. He doesn't have to come here at all. This site isn't owned by Yamaha. If Yamaha could get the parts I am sure they would get the remaining sleds done along time ago. It does Yamaha no good delaying delivering sleds.
Yes, the cable usually breaks on them. Barn of Parts makes an adjuster knob that you can use on the shock. I like the cable adjuster, so I would fix it if it was me. This is the part that you need. 8FU-W474A-30-00 Kimpex does make a cheap aftermarket one too.
Can you tell, or do you know if yamaha engineers helped with designing or refining the catalyst? Any news if yamaha is going to have their version of the catalyst? Thanks
