I can understand people being upset, but attacking Jaret is wrong. He doesn't have to come here at all. This site isn't owned by Yamaha. If Yamaha could get the parts I am sure they would get the remaining sleds done along time ago. It does Yamaha no good delaying delivering sleds.

Do you have symptoms of a bad jackshaft bearing before it is to late? How easy do the shafts bend? Can a bent shaft be fixed? Thanks

If you can't find one, look into the rs venture rear shocks. They will most likely work, but have different springs. I am not 100% positive though.

I have an 08 vector with a just starting decal lift off on one small tip of the decal. Anyone know what type of glue works to try to save it? Thanks

Yes, the cable usually breaks on them. Barn of Parts makes an adjuster knob that you can use on the shock. I like the cable adjuster, so I would fix it if it was me. This is the part that you need. 8FU-W474A-30-00 Kimpex does make a cheap aftermarket one too.

Update. It is suppose to be 3m dual lock. That is what my sled had and the yamaha parts fiche is correct.
