Work, and complete my install of Ulmer #4 kit. Having hard time of lining up the exhaust can.. not sure why.. almost seems the the flange needs to rotate clockwise and or lean towards the rear of the sled more....

i come from an apex. hardly used the hand brake on that or my viper xtx, both were long tracks and fairly decent lugs. 1.5 and 1.6 now. not sure how the nytro was.

i can tell you this much about this exhaust. besides that it is top notch, it is loud. idle isnt so bad but when you open it up its louder than the allowable db limits here in the states... at idle it may just be over the limit but it isnt crazy. i dont have any numbers for you guys sorry...
I can tell you about their powder hounds since I've been running them for on/off trail for 4-5 years now. I can't comment on any other brand but I can say they do what they advertise and I like my powder hounds.
I can't remember but I think those skis are just thicker and another inch wider so...
I've always wanted to go west. Mostly looked at Wyoming due to rentals. Always looked at mesa when looking around Colorado. Maybe one year I'll be able to make it. My 141 would be OK during the spring riding.

There use to be a chart some where. I'll see if I can find it. Basically I think pressures are set at 75psi in the fronts and 125psi rear. Ride like that and adjust according to your riding feedback. Adjust +-5 psi at a time until you like your settings. Here's a quick video...
I come from an apex so I am kinda use to it? Engine braking. Yup still had white grease in mine but as you said you have a couple thousand more then me. I cant see repacking them causing failure. I don't think you could pack enough grease to cause them to skid instead of roll? I usually apply...
Just cleaned both of mine. Results, both had grease but appeared low. Top was white and bottom was blackish in color. Not terrible compared to yours. Only 1100 miles or so. I put new grease in and filled it up the best. The biggest pain in this project is the drive shaft with the brake. Make...
im still curious about all this. for one i know my sled heats up fast, more then likely coolant dilution, so any time i stopped waiting for people and at any stop i shut the sled down soon as the fan kicked on. one time we were cruising down a logging road and you all know how those can be. out...
509 carbon fiber with aviators. i have rode in all kinda of temp's and never had any issues. last year we were riding during those -30 -40 wind chill days. no issues at all.... everything rides on the hood you wear. i also have the breath box on.

I got the #4 with clutch machining. Haven't tested anything out yet since I'm slowly installing the kit. Supposedly the hiflow is 2-3db louder at idle and like 6db or so at full throttle.

i have a carbon fiber helmet from them... second season and last year we rode well below zero every time we went out. i also use the aviators with the helmet. a good hood is the key along with the breath box. i have no issues with my setup. the helmet is ridiculously light. i do know a few guys...
