Do those sleeves ever get too gummed up? Maybe not allowing the throttle body to fully close you think? Ive cleaned the cable and that whole mess of goodies in there with carb cleaner. They weren’t yellow when I started

That is unknown…I’ve never done it. Took an air hose before but other than that, it probably needs it.

The idler nut is underneath the light, facing clutch side. You can reach it with a long straight blade screw driver when you take off the side panel. What’s the throttle body linkage? Where the thumb throttle is (cable)? Or deeper inside?
