Do those sleeves ever get too gummed up? Maybe not allowing the throttle body to fully close you think? Ive cleaned the cable and that whole mess of goodies in there with carb cleaner. They weren’t yellow when I started
The idler nut is underneath the light, facing clutch side. You can reach it with a long straight blade screw driver when you take off the side panel.
What’s the throttle body linkage? Where the thumb throttle is (cable)? Or deeper inside?

I love my 06…had it for 5 years now. Great sled. My only tip is don’t get it stuck, its hard to get out on your own(heavy) Hold the throttle in the ditches or deep stuff and she won’t let you down.
