    High revs

I think the that’s abit low for rpm. Don’t think I would go any lower. A tooth up will definitely drop your rpm. I went up one tooth and had to add 1g to my 8DN arms. Mind you I piped at the same time. So you may just be ok regearing if you don’t want to play with weights. It’s worth a shot...

    High revs

Yep. Fairly easy to do. Same chain. Time consuming part is dialing in clutches. Be sure to do primary first. 1g I found equates to 3-400rpm. Never dial in rpm via the wrap in secondary. I’ll give you the gear just pay the shipping. From Canada it would probably be close to $40 and I’ll bet...

    High revs

XTX with 1.5” has 19 top. 93.5437% of my riding is trail. Geared to a 20 couple weeks ago. Personally the taller top has increased my performance. I’m not going for “Top speed” but did want abit more for those long straight runs we have here. By performance I mean it’s a heck of a lot smoother...

Vibration at speed and low speed clicking

UPDATE 425km trip today and not a single vibration at speed. Secondary bushing I’m going to say was definitely it. (Helix I left alone) I do, however, still have that 30km/h clicking. Sounds like in clutch side. Going to check primary in morning. What a ride today!! First time out by the...

Vibration at speed and low speed clicking

I’m with ya there. No signs of major heat up or stuck caliper. New pads installed. I put everything back together. The 1/8” play in secondary turned into 1/16. Don’t think that was it. Either way was a maintenance item I didn’t mind doing. Taking a really good look at track I have incling I...

Vibration at speed and low speed clicking

Zipped over to a buddies who had the tool and press to put them in. Helix he said not bad at all. We didn’t change. Inner sheave borderline but we changed it. Probably not the problem. Took a whole two mins. Pop out. Slide in. I’ll be checking track clips. He gave me clips and tool to clip...

Vibration at speed and low speed clicking

YVX secondary mod installed. Since cleaning secondary other day I’ve had clicking/chatter from what seems like directly under tank. Distinctive at 30-35km/h. Clear and consistent. At 100 cruising or accelerating to 130 the vibration I can feel in my feet. When I squeeze tunnel with feet I can...

    Which Sliders for Phazer?

Here as well Nitro. I will drag my foot at times to feed snow into track at times.

    09 track vibrations?

Since cleaning my secondary I am now having same issue. Stock secondary went out after cleaning as well. May want to look at bi metal bushings. Phazer always have that track drone. Not as bad with fully clipped tracks. But when you can feel in your feet something is amiss.

    Phazer ski spacer removal

I’ll second that above. Have parts on hand.

    Light bar

I like the top of the shock mount!! With gytr bumper I was thinking of drilling holes and getting longer stove bolts. Only thing I’m worried about is tightening too much and crushing tube. I’m thinking the lower on sled the better.

    Blew a belt tonight

I think that would work pretty good. May have to install and exhaust turn out at 6” high. I like it.

    Light bar

:rocks:Blue, well said. Couldn’t agree more with ya. I wish I had the ability to install like you did. Yes. It’s what I had on. Replaced my headlight cover when I wrapped sled. I chose those because they were so light and I thought they would work good up there. I ended up having to wedge a...

    2009 Yamaha Phazer RTX

What’s your idle set at? If you go in frequently asked questions above our forum in yellow. Go down to fluids, 1st oil change. The second pic down is your throttle bodies. Very bottom of them , between the big circles, is where your going to want to look. Need to take air box off to get too. I...

    Light bar

I have buddies that have bolted on aux lighting. Very bright yes, but throw good forward light not really. 6 led light bar vs 6bulb pods like your blue and my single 2”x2” spots (BRP, built my ridgid) mine by far out did them. If you going to put AUX lighting on I highly recommend buying brand...

Phazer misfire and code 34 code 33

Come to think of it. I did a gear change. Knowing my past wiring issue when I unbolted harness I very carefully bend outward (warm shop) and propped up on a jack stand. Didn’t twist, or bend hard. Was very carefull not to move around much. Having said that, it was after that I had that misfire...

Phazer misfire and code 34 code 33

Without a code, With machine running good at times (warmed up for you, cooler for us) Fresh plugs I would lean towards a coil or weak link in harness. Coils can ohm out fine but then heated up can show signs of failure. I still find it difficult as to why it would NOT throw a code for a...

    Blew a belt tonight

Not the optimum storage place but I put mine in my yami backpack. Belt, shovel, basic tools. Water and snacks. Pack is small, rides high on back and very light. Easy off and on with only one clip under chin. Doesn’t bounce around. Had the bag under arms but reading here about the way it’s bent...

    Blew a belt tonight

Stock belt. Can’t remember how to do stock secondary. I think brake on and turn the inside sheave on secondary. Get the bet low and comes off pretty easy.
