Got mine too, the dealer said they are coming in a set at a time. Yamaha must be rationing them. :-) Oh and the dealer told me not to twist them while installing them, he said he was messing with one and he twisted it and heard allot of cracking. I hope these hold up and work. Oh well its only...
You got it Jimdevjr! I have 5600 miles on since I doubled up the straps with no more issues. Looks like you have a little more skills with CAD then me. Save yourself some big money from the dealer. If you have a local farm supply store visit them and get some bailer belt. Its the same material...
Great idea (I had the same one) Too bad it doesn't help completly, remove the tunnel protectors now and you will be all set. Believe me I did exactly what you did but it only helped a little. Remove the tunnel protectors and you will be good to go! Do it now before the snow flies. Just my...
If you attach the aluminum to the bottom of the protectors I would think that would work allot better than just covering up the exhaust with the block off plate. After I installed the block off plate it helped some but the snow would still melt and it would build up on the protectors and I stll...

Yeah local dealers are all out, but I found some good end of season prices on line, hence the question. I wear thin socks and currently wear a size 12 Rocky boot. Great boot but they are getting old and scratch the crap out of my tunnel.
If you have "light rust" in your engine you have bigger issues my friend. Unless you filled it with water. I guess you guys all have money comming out your arses. Once a season is plenty. Geez its a Yamaha for crying out loud! Go ride it!
Condensation in the Oil System
This is more common than...
I agree with sleddigfarmer. I went with the Yamaha tuning fork wheels to add some bling and have nothing but headaches because they bend easily. Going back to stock or oversized wheels soon.
