    Need help… no boost

It starts well and idles smooth.... on the log, it doesn't fluctuate more than 70 rpm at idle.

    Need help… no boost

On the log with low boost, the throttle reading is steady? Right now it shows boost is 17.9-18.1psi, which is exactly where it starts leaking on my boost leak tester.

    Need help… no boost

Agreed, but the rpm doesn't fluctuate while riding it and the boost is always steady on the gauge. Makes me wonder if its a communication issue or actually a TPS issue

    TAPP Set up 998

I haven’t had a ton of time with my Tapp yet and am running an STM 11.25” secondary but most of my miles are with a blue spring and plus 2 roller with short bolts. I just changed it over to +1 rollers with medium bolts and washers to I’d have adjustability options on the clicker where I had to...

    Need help… no boost

Also, not sure why the throttle position is so choppy on the logs sometime?

    Need help… no boost

The faster pass is obviously on better ice conditions, but boost is low at 17.8 pounds. The second log is the pass just before I blew the belt. This motor held around 22 pounds, if I remember correctly, last time I checked it

    Need help… no boost

Hey guys, I’m beating my head off a wall trying to figure out a low boost issue. Here’s what’s going on…. I took my sled to the lake a week ago and it ran fine. I’m running it with a TD header tune, up to 315hp. At that time it was running 19.4 pounds of boost. The lake was slushy and I would...

    Highest Speeds on Sidewinder/Thundercat

I can tell you that sled is fast. Mine isn’t the fastest sled at around 140mph gps and fleecer blows doors off. We don’t call him the king around here for nothing

    1,000ft

The XRS has smart shox which seem to ride quite well... we just haven't had enough snow to make the trails real rough, either. It corners well and flat with 2 runners under each ski. I did put an MCXpress 210 piggyback kit on it. My Thundercat is a 21 with QS3 shocks, TD header tunes up to...

    1,000ft

I'm no expert but I have a 2024 xrs 900 turbo with smart shox that ran 129 on the speedo pretty consistently last time out, and saw 132 once on a groomed/icy trail. 129 was 118 on my buddies gps. With that being said, it's still not even close to running with my Thundercat.

    C16

What are you running for weight on pump gas?
  13. S

    C16

Does PEFI still recommend running 8800 rpm? I know TD recommends running no more than 8500 on their race map. I tried it once, then blew my Adapt to pieces, and haven't tried it since. I was using C16 at the time, and syphoned it back out. Now I wonder if it's still okay to use since the can was...

Ya, we have a few straight stretches that 2 miles long. I make some long pulls and IATs become an issue... but I don't race all that often on the railroad bed anymore.

I'm still running the stock cooler

    Walbro gss342

Yes, I have always run 93 when I was running MS19/20 with a big pump.

    Hang on!

That Ski-Doo might be closer than you think. There are few up here that have Hurricane set ups running close to 130mph on snow. These sleds are running 144x14 tracks and drivers... I guess I'm just saying don't sleep on a 220-235hp sled just because you're running 300hp.

    137 to 141 Swap

Did you happen to take some measurements for your drivers? That's my next project on my Thundercat. Finally getting rid of the stock track and drivers to put 11t avids, 10" wheels and a 144x14 hacksaw

    ADAPT Verses TAPP

I'll be playing with a Tapp this winter on my 21 Thundercat. I can say that I gained about 4 mph on top end and 1000' radar runs with just replacing my Team clutch with an Adapt

    ADAPT Clutch Set Up

That’s good! Hopefully the trails hold up for a bit longer. I’ve had a rough go the past few weeks. Broke my hand a month ago and the. Was setting my sled up to play at a radar run and ended up blowing the clutch apart on the race tune. So, new tapp primary and stm secondary are on the way. ‍♂️
