Any chance the wire to the kill switch is frayed? Mine acted the same way until it finally wouldnt run. I messed it up where the wire comes out of the switch from adding hand guards. I also found oil laying on the bellypan under the clutch after tipping it. Air filter was kind of soaked and...
Not 100% sure. Might have been from jumping approaches along the highway, landing on a frozen pile on the other side. Might have been from catwalking across a buried log in the snow. I am hard on gear. :o| This is why I didnt buy a longer sled. Noticed it after a 2 day ride when I got home.
This sucks. Was maybe going to be my last ride of the year. Now it definitely is. So I want to price this through Arctic Cat, there is a local one here. Is this the same as my 19 Sidewinder xtx LE ? Has anyone had any luck straightening rails ? The other side has just a slight tweak to it...
So I was under there to adjust front shock and I noticed the aluminum bar has a flat side machined in it for the entire length. This edge is facing forward. Maybe if it faced up it would clear the black rod. I will try this also.
You would think for 20 grand they would throw in a chunk of hose lol. I was thinking I could do something like that. Strange thing is it was set too stiff from the dealer and was like that before I softened it. Rides better but there is still room for improvement. Maybe this could be caused...
Black rod is hitting on the aluminum rod. All stock. Anyone else have this and should I be concerned? Its more than just a mark. Both are gouged a little but nothing bent yet, I noticed this when I went to loosen off my rear spring. Felt like it was riding too stiff.
I am stock but find little information here on what to change it to, mostly because I do not truly understand clutching. I think both springs are too weak and maybe not heavy enough weights. I have a set up ordered used from a member here. Wish me luck.
Likely a good idea sometimes. In my happy moments I may have mislead you guys in my first post. Would turn over but no start. Just like trying to start it with the kill switch off. The red wire frayed off right where it comes out of kill switch. My Dad always says people look for big problems...
I had a cheap Canadian Tire bag of assorted screw drivers etc. in my truck. What I found to fit was a torx driver marked T9. Not sure I can fix it but at least its off.
Wire broken where goes into kill switch. Cut them off and twisted them together. What tool do I need to take the switch off? I tried everything I have and my old eyes cant see whats in there. Also I cant find that part of wire harness on microfiche. Is it a part seperate from the switch? Thanks...
