This sucks. Was maybe going to be my last ride of the year. Now it definitely is. So I want to price this through Arctic Cat, there is a local one here. Is this the same as my 19 Sidewinder xtx LE ? Has anyone had any luck straightening rails ? The other side has just a slight tweak to it. https://www.catshack.ca/New-Invento...-Country-Limited-ES-141-The-Cat-Shack-6159690

How did that happen? Just wondering.

Not 100% sure. Might have been from jumping approaches along the highway, landing on a frozen pile on the other side. Might have been from catwalking across a buried log in the snow. I am hard on gear.
This is why I didnt buy a longer sled. Noticed it after a 2 day ride when I got home.

Depending on price...I would try straightening the rail before buying a new one.

Last time I bought rails they were about 130 each. Pretty inexpensive really and pretty easy to change too. Lots of guys in the off trail group catwalk all the time and never bent a rail from that however jumping does bend and break stuff for sure. l

OK. Thanks. I will try straighten, it is not real bad. I will price it tomorrow for kicks. Quick google $1500 CDN for carbon fiber. Thats out.

So snooping through micro fiche, the "new", lighter 2019 141 Sidewinder rail is identical to a 2017 9000 Arctic Cat High Country. The 2018 Arctic Cat 9000 High Country is different and is same as 2017 and 2018 Sidewinder xtx. Looks heavier and stronger, but still looks like a direct bolt in. Can anyone tell me if the heavier rails are a direct bolt in, can use same axles, rods, tensioners, etc? The bent ones are $280 CDN. Not real bad. It was suggested to me to get a set off a 17 or 18 if I decide replace them.

Clearly a weak point due to that elongated cutout there. Iceage makes "Bomber" rails that are beefed up. Cheaper than CF. $570 for pair I believe.
