Just got one in on an apex! It came in this past weekend. Left for vacation monday. Pretty sure your number is on a post it at shop but send it to me just in case.
I did make a few videos explaining and showing how it all works. Also several tips and pointers during the process so one isn’t second guessing themselves the whole time.
Just wanted to provide an update on this. Did start to finish on valves on a 14 viper last month and the tool/concept worked great. Made a few changes to the tool shape and picked up my latest sample Friday last week. I was able to test it out today, and it's good to go. Going to get a batch...
My plastic delete kit will resolve your issue. The plastic spacers compress and when the two bolts are bottomed out on the axle, the axle can then spin. Kit also adds a 4th wheel. I sell just the spacer kit for $75 US but offer 20%discount to Canadians so your US cost is $60 and shipping is $24...
Just thought I would update on these. I have opted to go with stainless rivets to secure the flange to the pipe. The titanium drills much easier than i expected. Once the flange is in place, one just has to drill the through holes. 3 on top and 3 on bottom like i show in the photo. Using a...
Once my 25 srx arrives this fall I will attempt install to see if i can swap it without having to undo the power steering motor. Maybe if we grind some material off one of the oem ends it will yield clearance to get it out.
Yes, I will be selling these kits. I just have not added them to website yet. I agree it is slick that you can remove the wheel assembly with just 2 screws.
The new Rouski Evo retractable wheels are pretty slick. They only offer them for all the current production skis. I had developed a mounting kit so rouskis could be retrofitted on Curve skis years ago and decided to look into making mounting kits to put the new Evo kits on other skis. I think I...
Apex cam chain tensioner is on front of motor so much easier on an a 4 cylinder. On a 3 cylinder the tensioner is backside against the front heat exchanger.
Unless I am missing something obvious i dont think it is at all possible to get a shim out of the sleds with out pulling cams. Must be a different design concept honda uses.
Adjusting valves is not hard, but it's quite labor intensive since the chain tensioner is not easily accessible. Turboflash put a bug in my ear about trying to develop a solution which potentially eliminates the need to access chain tensioner. With Yamaha's exit, the existing sleds will...
