Sorry for late follow up on this. Finally got some metallurgy results on the stock bar today.
What do guys want? Stiffer? better durability? I am envisioning possibly a bar with adjustment settings.
On another note Itek, sold by kimpex makes linq adaptors. They are cheaper, but two individual pieces. I did have one customer that had his tunnel crack because the mounts were indpendent of each other. I highly suggest a solid plate concept that up north and my self use. This also eliminates...
I ordered in the kimpex stuff for a customer and it was ok. I feel its alot of pieces and just not quite there for the money. If you just want fuel rotopax is the way to go. You just can't mount it directily on tunnel due to the rear exchanger. I have a cargo plate that allows you to mount linq...
Like moose suggested I would spray a squirt of start fluid or gas from spray bottle directly into intake and see if it fires. This is the easiest way to dictate which direction you got with troubleshooting. If no start I would suspect possible trigger coil on the stator. Had an apex one time...
The hole in outer layer of tunnel is 60mm, so the seal will not just slide in from the outside. I belive it was habs1 that managed to get a seal in from outside. I would not bother to pull drive shaft just to retain the seal. As you can see in photo once new bearing is installed the seal is...
What stubbs said is correct. Its a cylindrical valve and it will swing around when sled is moving/bouncing down the trail.
My local dealer and I have been working/testing the exup eliminator "foolers" that you install in place of the servo motor. They are in intended to fool the ecu so it...
By default if cables broke gravity orients the valve in full open. I make a slick little exup delete plate that locks the valve in open position and also have used exup servo motors. If servo is faulty it will still display fault code even if you lock valve open.
Not sure I follow you here. Inserting a collar into a bearing does not make it a smaller bearing. Ball bearings in this bearing are the exact same size as a std 6009 bearing so it will distribute the load no different than the stock bearing.
The 121 shock is not shorter. I just measured one here in the shop. 17.5" center to center. Crossed some part numbers between 121 and 144 and both share the same arms and linkage. Springs interchange between 121 and 144 so just different rates depending on year and model.
Some phazer 121 models had rebuildable shocks. I'm pretty sure the mtx is the same shock dimensionally. I have a few in stock. I will double check center to center length on them.
I usually mount one on the top rear hole of the 4 rivet holes used to bolt the rail extension on. Serves as a nice pilot hole and then you know both sides will match up perfect. I have a bunch of used shafts here if you end up needing one.
No suspension setting tips...but did you add any cross shafts between the scissors arm and rear axle? Highly recommend it as there is a lot of distance between for flex to occur.
I ship to Canada daily right here from my shop via usps. There is no need to go to post office to ship via usps.
The dupont shortage is everywhere. I am all but sold out as well and likely no more arriving this season.
I do have one set of the long 70" for viper/sidewinder rails.
Any chance you have a garmin gps power cable hardwired to battery? I have found that they draw power when not being used. My father in laws dual sport would keep draining battery and we found that was the cause of it.
I use these $20 hitches. I weld a piece of 1 1/4" channel to the bumper for some support. The hitch also mounts much better to the channel than round tube. The xtx has a smaller tube diameter so you would have to crimp the open end together to match the bumper but very simple and inexpensive to...
