New venture touring. He did say for the long riders. Lol. But also bring back maybe a apex 4 hole in the sidewinder chassis. Oops here I go again. Apex apex apex. :)
I ended up buying the arms and changing them out. Did help a little bit but still tippy for my son. Just throwing it out there 2012 phazer GT now RTX with the replacement arms and SB anti sway bar. Sled has 880 miles on it. Would part with it for 4200. No shipping local pick up only. Located...
Thanks for the help guys. I have parts on the way to change out the a arms. Upper and lower. Waiting on the usps. I was supposed to have them last Saturday.
So when I got up to the sled I instantly put the battery tender on the sled. I let it set for 2-3 hours before I touched anything. I went out unplugged the tender. Sled started like a champ. Ice cold in enclosed trailer ice box. Possibly just a weak battery. Not sure but was happy it started...
I wonder if the battery is being effected from me not using the kill switch. I always keep in the on position. Maybe the sled is drawing juice that way....
Funny thing is my Father in law has the GT model 2020 and does the same thing. Could there be something they missed during the prep? And the sled runs strong. I don't think it would be a bad plug. Plenty of pep. Or do these four strokes run even with a foul plug. I would think they would be like...
I was wondering if anyone knew why these sleds start so hard and have any tricks to help them. Mine can cranks over for up to if not more then 30 seconds and not start. Shut off key then try again and it pops/backfires hard. Even when its warmed up it still starts hard. Takes multiple tries...
I have a question about the lower control arms on the phazers. Mine is a 2012 and I wanted to upgrade the lower arms so we can install the larger Schmitt brothers sway bar. Question is I found a guy that has a 09 RTX that he is parting out and was wondering what the difference is part number are...
Okay. I don't believe heat was ever mentioned, I could have missed it. Just doesn't make sense to loose weight in something that is so important. And as well stated a safety issue now. I hope you get your answers and they correct this issue.
this might be a haul for you but very clean 2001 SRX, 2200 miles on it.

question would be why take the thickness out of the clutch? doesn't make sense to. Won't that effect the heat distribution as well? Has anyone checked to see how hot these clutches are running. Hot clutches usually equal disaster. At least that was always a concern with my 2001 SRX. After...
I would think that if the dealers know about the issues we are all having they would take the time to make sure what goes out of their shop is correct. Regardless of if yamaha pays them extra for what needs to be done. That's just good service and will bring people back.
Np. You do have to move your stop switch next to the throttle over to make room for the mount. Otherwise you will crush your wires. At least on the 2020's.
