I'm looking for some blue "A" arm protectors or any other blue accessories. I already have ski loops and skid plate. Also, I'm looking for an XXL mens jacket for a spare, either FXR or Yamaha. I can pay up to $100 or $125 for the jacket.
Since my wife took my modular, I had to buy another. Zox with a flip down sun visor and soon to be heated shield. Th double bubble visor still fogs a bit.
Mine would stall and bog right after the light went out and then it was hard to start, so I changed the pilot jets from 45's to 50's. No more bog but it still stalls sometimes unless you touch the throttle. You might try a can of Sea Foam. It seems to work wonders on dirty carbs.
I have the smaller version however I was looking at yours but they don,t give any dimensions in the catalog. Thanks for posting pic's. I can see how big it is now. I also have saddle bags. You can carry everything but the kitchen sink in those.
I put on a 2" pivot also but I tilted back towards me to bring the bars closer. I have a bad shoulder and I find the bars too far to reach comfortably.
Sounds like a battery. If you try to boost it and it starts then that is the problem. Not completly unheard of to get a bad battery at 300. After 25 years as an auto mechanic I have learned not to assume something is good.
I have a question. Did you have track noise before you put on the fully clipped track and did the track get quieter after you fully clipped it? I am thinking of clipping mine just to help stop some of the track noise.
Mine would stall while warming up with the 45's and then hard to start. Now with the 50's it will stall after the light goes out unless you touch the throttle. Then there are no problems. The hesitation is gone.
I don't know if you have the same clutch noise, but they all rattle and there is not much you can do about it. There is a thread on here about it. Just use the search engine. I have a '10 Venture and have a lot of track noise. Again, search the threads on here and get ready to read lots.
The Yamaha marginal snow wheel kit seems to work well. It stops a lot of wear at the front. Your slides will wear fast to a point and then they seem to stop. Did you loosen off your track? Set it to about 1" to 1 1/2" free sag. I have the trick scratchers mounted to the sway bar links. Too early...
