It's not the relays or the TORS but the sled will not idle. If I give it throttle it will start and run. As soon as I let off it dies. If I don't touch the throttle it will fire then die, then fire then die. I'm thinking the IAC valve. Ran great then wouldn't run in the morning. Any thoughts?
I know a lot of people are happy with the storm track but is anyone running the Ice version on their SW? I run the ice cobra on my nytro and love it but thats half the hp. I know i wont hook up on ice like studs but on good trail i would think it would do really well and have the safety of the...
What did you do on the belly pan? I cut the rubber back but the tip is really close to the plastic. Did you remove the metal ring and cut the hole bigger?
Has anyone seen this happen? The ring groove wore out on the drive shaft by the disk. First pic is if I ratchet strap the shaft in that direction. Second is how it sits with nothing pulling it.
Anyone else have issues with the tunnel packing up with ice and snow? If I run over 60 mph on smooth trails for long perioids of time it packs so full up front that the track starts hitting it and vibrating. Not horribly but you can feel it in your feet.
I just got back from the 4th day of my break in trip and now have a little over 500 miles on the LTX LE. I'm going to warn everyone that hasn't put any miles on it yet, especially if you've never run a turbo sled, have respect for this thing. It is sneaky fast. You grab the throttle and it is...
I can't believe I'm the first jack #*$&@ to post this but here it is. Got out the dish soap today.
2017 Sidewinder LTX LE bone stock
vs
2015 Viper LTX DX
MPI Trail set up
Ulmer Clutching and Machining
XTX Gears
Don't get too excited by the first run. The Viper got out of it cause it was...
Any one deal with a crashed viper on here? My dad banged one up pretty good this weekend. Both right a arms, hood and it looks like the whole front end is tweaked. Also the top front mount is pulled away from the chassis. Are these like the doos where you have to unrivet and bolt them back...
Anyone know the conditions on the RAP loop? The website map says the whole loop is available but looking at all the yellow/red around it makes me suspicious of the condition of the trails. Thinking of running it in 2 days next Friday/Saturday.
I thought I would start a thread to let everyone know what I have figured out and looking to see if anyone else has the same issue. I have the MPI trail turbo with the Ulmer clutch kit and I was getting wicked belt slip all the time, even at part throttle. Belt dust was everywhere and gas...
Decided to start my own thread on my build now that I am making progress.
For the last 15 years my whole family and all my friends bled yellow. I didn't know anyone that didn't ride a skidoo. I had a 98 Touring E 380 fanner as my first decent sled. After that was an 02 MXZ 500 adrenaline...
So I'm looking through the documentation that came with the MPI trail turbo kit. The pages that came with the EABC says that it maintains 5 psi at sea level and it is not uncommon to see it go to 8 psi at higher elevations. At the same time in the install instructions for the turbo it lists...
