I saw that. Interesting to see what models and colors they produce as a last hoorah to Yamaha's past. He mentioned going to talk to your dealer soon to reserve one. Has anyone had any dealers give them info on 2025 deposits/details?
I have a '23 SRX LE. I would agree with both comments above in relation to alignment. My dealer did a great job with setup as I checked for 1/8" toe out and dealer had it set perfect. I removed Rear transfer blocks and arm. Torsions springs set on low and IQS shocks on soft all around. I...
I haven't ridden my '23 SRX yet, but I've talked to a few friends who have had both Power Steering and Non-Power Steering Sidewinders. They echo what's said here about it being phenomenal and making the sled feel way lighter. However, every one of them have said they dart more than their...
Right. Agreed. I don't think there's anything wrong with what they've done. Problem is, Cat is not going to continue to build both chassis. They will cease production of the Pro Cross chassis to build the Catalyst. No manufacturer continues the old chassis production in parallel with a new...
Think they have it in the Riot 9000 for '23 as well. But, fair point.
Also, been thinking about this one.....more speculating I guess - What if Yamaha just buys the rights to the Pro-Cross chassis from Cat?? Similar to what Honda did with the Jet Ski hull/body from Cat. As Cat transitions out...
I'm probably leaning towards just putting the factory aluminum 2 in at the rear, keeping the track tight and keeping an eye on things. If I feel I need to add the STM front ones, I will add them later.
All good points! Thanks for everyone's input.
I have both the Full STMs and the factory aluminum ones for the rear, so I have a choice right now on which ones I use.
I'm going to be running 1.575" Triggers down the middle, track will be tight (like TD says) and sled will be stock with no...
Ordered a set of these full length protectors for my '23 SRX. For those who have installed them, can you do it without removing the rear suspension? Can you just remove the rear bolts, and drop the back of the suspension with sled on lift and get them in? I did a search and didn't really see...
The code doesn't show up until you attempt to adjust the IQS. When you start the sled 'IQS Active' comes up and everything is fine, then you go to adjust the IQS it throws the code. Right or wrong, I'm assuming the dealer did not attempt to adjust the IQS as part of his setup.
I'm curious to see what this broken 'part' is. Coincidentally, I have a C1515 trouble code coming up on my '23 SRX which is a fault code for the communication between the rear shock and the IQS module. Not sure if it's related or not to what's going on with yours. I didn't see anything...
She's a looker! Possibly the best looking sled I've owned. That's the good news. Bad news is it's already showing an alarm code. C1515 - Book says 'Rear Skid Shock Stepper Motor Stall Detection'. I unplugged and replugged at the shock, mid harness and at the module. Everything looks good...
Thanks Travis. I did order your Driveshaft Saver and received it in the mail for my '23 SRX. I'm picking up my sled on Saturday. Do you have a recommendation on initial torque spec for the Driveshaft Saver on a new '23 model? Not sure if the spec changed vs. new pre '22 driveshafts.
