Had the OD done on my V-Max 4 and couldn't really tell any difference. I went with Hauck, Bender, Delaughter clutch kit. I ran the Bender kit the most. Hauck pretty much just want the $$ and nothing said after the sell. Won't ever buy anything from him again
Was wondering if people that have overheating issues(Not just riding in low snow condition) ever try RedLine Water Wetter? I used it in my quad and my truck and it differently made a noticeable temp change.
I am leaning toward the SE. Since I like the shock pkg. After 7 yrs racing quads, you can only go as fast as the shocks let you. I rode my 800 Max in some powder in the upper, you just had to learn not to have the fun flipper touch the grip.
Once you get the pre-load set right. Its matter of what type of riding you do.
If you have small chatter whoops you want the rebound fast (so it don't buck you over the bars), big whoops you want to slow it down.
Compression depends on how soft or how hard you want the shock. Best way...
I am looking at all three models. I live in Iowa, so ditch banging is most of my riding. With a couple of weeks in Wis and U.P.
Looking for people to give me real pros and cons on all 3 sleds and how the handle. Coming off a V-max 4 800 the weight will be the 1st thing that I noticed.
Thats really good prices. Dealer in Iowa City is asking 8500 + fees for an 08' and 10,100 for an 09' XTX. :drink: I will be shopping around for a new dealer even if I have to drive a couple of hours.
They keep the power valves open. The only thing that is different between the two is the RZ jugs have boost ports like a 250R jug has. A stock banshee doesn't. My jugs have the boost ports when I got it ported.
Have you done a plug reading yet? If not I would try that first. You are lean on the pilot, go up one size at a time. Turn your air screw back to 1 1/2 turns out. That will give you a baseline.
I will be looking at snow checking a sled. Looking for a dealer that won't round a person around.
Went riding around Davenport quite a few times, they have a nice trails down there.
I am thinking about getting back into the sport after a 10 years. The dealer that I used to goto passed away sometime ago and heard that the business closed shortly after. Dennis Barr's Sale & Service in DeWitt, Ia. Could anybody tell me if they are still open or not. I hope they still...
