hey guys.. I'm looking at 2001 Banshee.. The motor has been rebuilt.. the bike looks to be like new otherwise.. He says it had RZ350 heads and jugs? Is this a bad thing? What else should I look for on this thing? What are some commone problems?

It has RZ350 jugs and heads, eh? Correct me if Im wrong, but the engine the Banshee uses is from the RZ 350 race bike, so Im not sure thats such a big deal.
There are no real concerns with the Banshee. Its been around forever and has been mostly unchanged during that time. Just make sure you ride it and make sure if runs right, shifts smoothly and doesnt make any weird noises.

Do the cylinders have power valves? Later rz 350s had ypvs, if they have power valves that banshee would have more bottom end snap.

yeah..he said it has power valves.

They keep the power valves open. The only thing that is different between the two is the RZ jugs have boost ports like a 250R jug has. A stock banshee doesn't. My jugs have the boost ports when I got it ported.
