I don't know jack about clutching but I noticed that both my primary and secondary springs are black in color. This is on my 06 Apex ER. I noticed that it should be yellow-silver-yellow on the primary and pink on the secondary. Anyone know why this would come from the factory this way?

Here is my dilemma. I want to spend about $300.00 or so for Christmas for my machine. I can't decide if I should spend it all and stud the machine or do the following instead.
1. Skid plate
2. Tall windshield from Powermadd
3. New slides on the suspension
4. SLP wearpads...
Can anyone tell me what type of shocks are used on the 06 Apex ER. Can they be revalved like the others found on the RTX and GT? Does the revalve job get rid of the pogo stick effect?
I see a set of Pilot Skis for sale and was wondering if they will mount directly to our Apex's without any type of new bracket. In other words, do the pilots just bolt on as direct replacements for our crappy stock skis?
