Rear heat exchanger
I have a 08 vector LTX with studs, the sled comes with tunnel protecters but they allow the studs to realy make a mess of the rear exchanger , i shimmed them one more inch and this stop the studs hitting the exchanger
rip the heat exchanger
If you have studs and a rear heat exchanger you need to shim the tunnel protecters that come with the sled another 3/4 if a inch or the sluds with rip the heat exchanger
Steve
If you get the rear heat exchanger, shim the tunnel protector another3/4 of a inch. The first time I had my sled outI put some good groves in the exchanger( did not leak) the reason the track lugs are too soft that allows the studs to extend farther
Was you machine bought in U S A? Mine was bought in Canada with the rear heat exchanger ( a vector LTX) I think you have to have a long track so there is a spot to put the exchanger
