After I removed all the foam from inside my hood, The clutch noise was all i heard. It is still the loudest noise comming from the front of my sled..Definately very noisy at low rpms. gets drown out at high rpms..

I also have a skinz. i bought it to add flotation and it does a good job. I also really like the looks.. I would not recommend it to anyone who cant melt down their sleds.. it has some tremendous ice buildup after a day in the fluff.. the ice forms around the front suspension and Swaybar...
I have yet to ride a sled with PS. But have extensive atv use with and without PS. PS "rocks" on ATV's and is the only way to go once you put on a set of tracks. Dont knock it till ya try it...
I had the same issues with the steering linkage. I found a short end wrench, very short. had to use vise grips to get the center to turn.
Ya the locate took only 1 beer to install, and the Steering and throttle took me 2 beers ....

Get a long screwdriver and pry up the Cap. i stuck the screwdriver about 4 inches past the cap and used the shaft as a lever to get the caps off... its a double rubber gasket.
I read the manual and did a 20 mile ride. came home watched the youtube vids with the different pistons. Went with the HOT break in after that. changed oil at 150 miles.
