I have yet to ride a sled with PS. But have extensive atv use with and without PS. PS "rocks" on ATV's and is the only way to go once you put on a set of tracks. Dont knock it till ya try it...

I had the same issues with the steering linkage. I found a short end wrench, very short. had to use vise grips to get the center to turn. Ya the locate took only 1 beer to install, and the Steering and throttle took me 2 beers ....

Get a long screwdriver and pry up the Cap. i stuck the screwdriver about 4 inches past the cap and used the shaft as a lever to get the caps off... its a double rubber gasket.
