ttt ~ After another few hundred miles.... the slow speed stutters is where the sled needs some serious calibration. Any more opinions on Pioneer ?

LarryPolaris Let me know how it rides with the new skiis/springs,shock calibration. ...... If had to tighten the center spring two turns from the lowest to ligthen up the steering. I'm hoping the pilots allow me to loosen it back up.... I'm hoping the Storm too doesn't toast the snow.... :-(

Thanks for the info... what is the concenses on getting the sled softer.... revalving alone; or do you "have" to replace the springs with dual rate. My complaint with the calibration of the sled for me is the slow speed stutter bumps... most especially in the rear... That thing is rock hard...

Yeah.. that makes sense... I tried to put them on this weekend.... And, I thought... I gotta cut this washer thingy too ? From what I see... you got to Cut the shims about 1/4 inch to get them in the ski Shim the ski tips up a bit use the new stopper

AFter 500 miles on the XTX I've come to the conclusion that for "me" it needs to be revalved a little softer...... It is calibrated a bit more ditch banging than this 50 year old body needs...... I've looked around, but have yet found the shock spec with regard to shim stacks...

I:ve ridin a 2004 Renegade that I have set up to carve w/great steering using pilots. Aflter 300 miles on my new XTX I was worried also...... I got it to carve and stter great with little effort by varying from Stock by: -taking the COmpression on all the shocks to the lowest position...

Might need to reinforce the area where the handle end contacts the bag, might rub through? would have been perfect if flat w/tailight re-mount.

I don't mind relocating my light so the bag can be flat. It must be "waterproof" like your new bag and have an opening that goes the entire "top" I want to carry a shovel on the top as well. I want to carry a sno-bunjie rattler on the inside and the tool pouch, jumper cables.... MAybe some...
