I'm putting the stock spring back on my '19 SRX and would like to have the installed length of it.My service manual makes no mention of that measurement.
Can someone chime in here with the installed length for the front skid shock spring? I had a stiffer ELKA spring last year and it was too much. I couldn't get enough weight on the skis,so I'm going back to the original one for now. I saw an older thread with a Cat part number for a stiffer...
Who is using a Wix filter on their Winder? I see the specs for the one that crosses from the Yamaha filter, and it looks like it is taller than the Yammy filter so I'm not sure it'll physically fit in there.
No I'm not advocating one filter over the other, but I can get Wix locally rather than...
I wrecked way too many of the cheap oem ones before going to an alternate wheel with a rubber " tire " and figured my problem was gone. Not so much. I thought I read a thread from a few years ago about a retailer in Canada here. Is there still one available or just from US sources?
I should have included into my original post that the template I used had studs being installed into the quiet pads, which I'm pretty sure is where my issues stems from. I've always pulled the studs into the track as much as possible to avoid this issue. My older sleds are both studded and I've...
I have been fighting an issue with my studded '19 SRX chewing up idlers. I used a Woodys 137" 2.86 pitch template to do the track and figured I had the right one, but just recently I see specific templates for the quiet pad tracks with those goofy pads on them. How many of you all used the...
I posted last season about the studded track on my '19 SRX chewing up idlers and thought I had a cure with a rubber tired Kimpex wheel, but by the end of the season at least one of them had been destroyed as well. I can't be the only one with this issue, surely. What are guys using for idlers...
I am at the point where the flyweights, at the very least, will need to be changed on my '19 SRX primary. Right now the roller bushings are still good but I may change them to keep the tolerances the same between the weights and rollers. Is there any decent aftermarket options for bushings? In...
It's a '19 SRX.Yeah this sled is way out of balance, compared to my old 2 stroke, but I've had many years of tweaking to get that sled to handle the way I like it. I am hoping to get another chance to try and sort the handling out this winter.First thing I'm going to try is softening the centre...
How sensitive to the coupler block adjustments are the 137 skids in the SRX in relation to ski pressure? I swapped out the stock Tuners in the fall to Slydog Attacks and have only had a couple opportunities to try and tune the ski pressure where I want it,and as of yet am unsuccessful. The...
Has anyone swapped the factory water pipe type clamps on their sled over to constant tension ones? Seems like they worked so well on the 2 stroke sleds that it would be a no brainer to put them on the 4's.Might be something for Travis to work on,put together a whole sled kit ,or at least...
Has anyone got a step by step on the lower steering pivot bushings install? I see a few pictures including the rivet removal of the reinforcement plate etc, but this would be a great thread to have to help those of us getting set to tackle this job.
I've seen the billet adjusters but it is actually the loop that holds the long end that I was referring to.Mine aren't broke it's just the sloppy fit onto the steel mount I'd like to see tightened up.I even went and picked up new ones and they aren't even tight on the mount.I ended up cutting a...
I could have sworn I saw billet torsion spring holders for sale somewhere but for the life of me I can't find them now.Is there a company making these? There must be a better alternative to the stock plastic ones.
I've seen the mod that is offered by Rocztoyz for the thumb and grip heaters on the Winders but I also noticed this too.

Has anyone tried these or another set of...
Are the front bumpers made by aftermarket companies able to fit all year procross chassis? There's one for sale locally listed for the '12-17 years range but mine is a '19.
I can't seem to find much info on this topic so here goes. Are all Slydog skis made to fit the same carbide size? As in having the same stud C-C? Woody's makes a couple options for Slydog skis but I read somewhere that C&A carbides will fit too? I have the Attack model skis so if I can get some...
