Do these REALLY make a difference... or is it pretty much a placebo effect (snake oil)? I have no interest in buying one but it seems this might be one of those things like the "knock out kit" that was so popular a couple seasons ago. Now you never hear about them because.they don't really work...

The Gates Redline 40R4313 works great on stock or tuned Sidewinders. I just wondered if the same was true for the 40R4340 that is meant for the Japan sleds.

Does anyone run the Gates Redline 40R4340 belt on their Apex or Vector? They work well on the Sidewinder. Just wondering how they compare to the 8DN on the Apex/Vector. They are softer than the 8DN so you would think they shouldn't groove the clutches over time as much.

No idea what they are doing exactly as far as the overdrive cut. That's why I just let Thunder Products handle it.

They are not really available. If you happen to find one, it will likely cost you $1200+... although I didn't pay that for the 2 that I purchased recently.

I recently bought 2 new Yamaha OEM "clutch repair kits" which are pretty much complete primary clutches for 16+ Viper, Venture, Vector, etc... but disassembled. I also run a 12 Vector primary on my 17 LTX SE, a 16 Viper primary on our 1st 25 LTX LE, and will be putting one of the "repair kit"...

That 3" Super Quiet obviously flows more then... based on the results you had while running it.

It is 100% unacceptable that you aren't getting a response after such a long time. Does ANYONE answer the call when you call there? I'd be on his #*$&@ like a fly on #*$&@ if it happened to me.
