I do know that Yamaha has a 4 valve 4 cylinder they have been working on for the snowmobile division. More low and midrange outta the 4 valver.

Look at the diameter of the pipes...Smaller 3 cylinder diameter not the larger 4 cylinder diameter.

You will have to wait in this current economic state. Yamaha will not do a total revamp of their whole line again. You will see specific new model(s) each year instead. A much smarter and more feasable plan and it keeps interest peaked as well.

I do know Yamaha test riders have been riding Apex's with a normally aspirated engines pushing near 170hp. Here is what I would like to see... A new line, consisting of the rumoured 128" monoshock, and a 144" Nytro XTX suspended Apex. All with 1.5" binder traction. Lower cg's and less...
