The gauge cluster on my friend's 2023 SRX is cracking (no hit). How can it happen?

Finally, dealer concluded that the heat exchanger is leaking and ordered a new one.

I did my best to check everything, I also used an inspection camera. No leaks from any hose clamp. Starting engine until warmed, collant comes again at the same place. I see no other possibilities than leak coming from the bottom of the exchanger. Sled is now at dealer, they will check that...

How would it be there and nowhere else?

I did check and saw nothing.

See pictures from below (access panel removed), brand new 2025 SRX, 0 miles, no leak from hose clamps at the back or front of the exchanger. Puzzling! I'll have to go to the dealer (next Monday), seems that the leak comes from the exchanger itself.

Thank you for your advices. My sled is in my friend garage and he just checked ski alignment. It was 1/2 inch open, before the trip, it was 1/8 inch! On my two days trip, my 2024 SRX went very well on hard pack trails. The second day, we had snow falls. On the soft snow, I was unable to keep the sled straight. The feeling is one ski bites-digs more in the snow, than the other does the same making the rear of the sled go right and left...

I have experienced significant hyfax wear with all my SRX since 2019. On my 2017 LTX, I had no hyfax wear even with very marginal snow condition. With the SRX 1 inch fully clip track, I did not expect it!
