Anyone have experience with Loves Park Motoresports near Rockford? They are Arctic Cat/SkiDoo dealer...I'm thinking of taking my 2018 Viper to them for some standard end of season maintenance/service....stuff like jack shaft bearings repack/chaincase oil change etc. Thanks
Would like to have some end of season maintenance done on my 2018 Viper. Stuff like jack shaft bearing lube and chain case oil change, etc. Anyone have any experience with Arctic Cat dealer Loves Park Morotsports near Rockford, IL? I'm getting lazy and want to farm it out. Thanks
Went from a 2012 Vector to a 2018 LTX-DX. After you take care of the setup, and poor skis, You will absolutely love the Viper...Until you have to deal with the maintenance of the chain case, driveshaft bearing maintenance and of course the Tri Hub. It's all documented pretty well on this...
...all good advice from my experience. One other thing. The steel bushing or insert that goes into the ski to accept the mounting bolt. I used AC and had to heat the ski a bit, then press the "bushing" into the ski with a large c clamp. This sled quality wise is not as good as our 2012...
Has anyone had maintenance done by Nielsen in Lake Villa northern Illinois? If so, would you go back? Our new left over '18 has always had a vibration. Port is really good, but kinda far.
BINGO! I'm getting ready to post a question about vibration and here your post is. My sled, 2018 LTX-DX has vibration also. Comes in at about 45mph/5000 rpm and leaves at about 65 mph/7000 rpm. Those are approximate numbers. It's very similar to the vibration you feel if you slip over to...
I finally read some in the owners manual and learned they recommend greasing the skid every 40 hours. Well, I hunted around and only found 3 zerks on the skid and none on the front end. Anybody know how many I need to find? Sled is 2018 LTX DX. Many thanks.

Well, I finally got the new sled on the trails. After reading all the great replies to this question about skis, I settled on Arctic Cat Skis and Snow Trackers. I am extremely happy with the choice. Many thanks to all who helped me decide which way to go. The ski pre-load springs are 3...
I'm putting Arctic Cat Skis on my '18 LTX DX. I have a question about the rubber snubbers. Yamaha calls them "stoppers" and Arctic Cat calls them "damper, ski-rubbers". If I use the Yamaha "stoppers", I will either have to force them (very hard), or trim some rubber off...or I could order...
Hey Wannaviper...Thanks for the reply. Actually, thanks to all the ty4stroke folks for their input. I've decided on AC skis with Semi Aggressive Snowtrackers for the LTX-DX... partly because of your recommendation. There were lots of good recommends related to this post. I was going to go...
I know there is a ton of ski stuff on here. I'm looking for the BEST for my style of riding. Any and all opinions will be greatly appreciated. I'm old and ride over my head on groomed trails only... exclusively in northern Wisconsin and the U.P. I'm looking for easy steering and skis that...
I generally don't "editorialize" about stuff on my computer. There's a lot of chatter because Yamaha is fiddling around with their marketing strategy, re:snowmobiles. I loved my Vector, EPS AND ENGINE. This year I totaled it. Now I'm faced with
1. used
2. new Vector with strange...
