    15 Vector LTX HARSH RIDE

First ride on a new 15 Vector LTX leftover. Put 300 km on it trying to set the suspension up. I have followed the manual and set everything up to standard. Transfer is set to min. I am finding the ride really ROUGH in bumpy trail. I made some trail side adjustments and it did not improve much...

    Ready to jump ship

Well I will admit I am beyond frustrated with this sled now. I have tried everything I can think of to get this sled to handle properly. I put tuner skis on, the damn thing still darts. Skis are aligned and toed 1/4" etc... Sled still wont handle the big bumps at all. I have gone, soft, hard, in...

    Ready to jump ship

Update: Rear center shock was completely out of oil, seals were all rusted up, piston was scored. Rear shock had very dirty oil. Everything has fresh oil and seals and is good to go. Fox floats were also serviced. I picked up the tuner skis with 6 in 2 out set up. I took the sled out for a ride...

    TUNER SKIIS, Awesome!

I just had my first ride with the tuner skis with a 6 in 2 out set up. They are MUCH better than the stockers I was running with deuce bars. Sled goes where you want it and does not push. BUT.. It is still darting??? If I can fix the darting I will have to agree they are AWESOME!

Looks like I have the same issues.. I will have to get the shocks rebuilt. Any suggestions on where to take them? I am just north of Toronto, and would like to deal with someone that is willing to explain how everything works and help me with my setup. I will also be picking up a new set of...

    Ready to jump ship

It does move up and down with some resistance... what kind of resistance am I looking for? It does take some force. I don't think it has been bottoming out. Only 2 times over huge ruts. I am assuming if I can adjust the rear this will be under control? I agree, the handling does suck on the...

Just to clear things up.. Im 6'2 and 150+ gear.. I may not weigh much but I am no wimp. I have ridden 2 other Nytros, most recent last season 2010 se 121" That sled was fine, I had a blast. No way I would have bought a Nytro without trying it first. I am simply asking for help tuning mine in...

    Ready to jump ship

It did bottom out over 2 really big whoops today.. Going over some smaller bumps it did buck when I hit the bump. It feels like the rear is very soft.. There is tonnes of compression in the skid when I jump on, and as soon as i hit a bump, it compresses and tries to knock me off. Would adjusting...

    Ready to jump ship

I will admit I am still a bit confused how the suspension in the rear works. I will be trying some more adjustments on the rear and see where that takes me. I have been riding rail line from Bethany to Lindsay, then Long Sault area to the ganny, today going in circles haha.

    Ready to jump ship

I have read almost everything in the FAQ. I am looking for some direction based on my situation without trying 15 different set ups. I am no mechanic, but very able to learn and do. I love the site, and I have done things on the sled I would normally only take to the dealer. :rocks: Hope I can...

    Ready to jump ship

I had the shocks at 75, then lowered them to 50 which I feel made it less "tippy." Is this possible? Or am I over-thinking?

    Ready to jump ship

Mostly tired from rider input and getting shot around from the back end. How would I confirm the rear shock is blown? I have actually used the deuce bars on all my previous sleds. I am willing to try new skis if it will help!!

    Ready to jump ship

I am just about ready to give up on the Nytro. Its my first year with it, I have done around 200km now in various conditions. First ride it was so TIPPY I couldn't even manage a small corner. I had to turn back (slowly). At home I made some changes and am now very confident in turning. Not...
