Is there anyway to repair an oil tank? It must have a very tiny crack, because I can't see a crack, but I can watch the oil materialize on the side of the tank. Like Magic, go figure.

Do you have a suggestion on how to pull the bearing out, without using the shaft as a puller ? Thanks for the replies.

Are you saying that I can remove the bearing without removing the Jackshaft? Do you apply heat to the bearing or to the Jackshaft?

2005 Vector I am thinking I need to replace the Jack Shaft Bearing (Behind the Secondary) and I am looking for instructions for the easy way. I have never changed one with a tapered collar like this. Thanks

Unit is not waterproof. You cannot save your tracks. You can download maps into the 550, not sure about the 1450.

I have a friend who did the same thing, cost him a rebuild. Around 3 grand.

You need to remove the gas tank to change them.

I take an air hose and blow out the belt dust, as often as I can. Seems to help.

This would be the first thing I would check, otherwise it could cost you a motor. Just my 2 cents.
