Knowing those bushings fit, I'm surprise @hibshman25 doesn't off the beefier relay rods for the Nytro like he does for the Apex. I doubt they are the same length but thought he might possibly be able to use the same stock to make similar ones for the Nytro. After replacing them twice...
Yes and no. No, it's not normal but yes, it was a common/known issue with the early 4-strokers like the 03/04 RX-1's. Some burned oil more than others and some hardly burned any so could just be that. I have since replaced my stock air box with a kit from back in the day that essentially...
I would think that as long you treated (ie. clean/sanded/wire brushed) the area around the holes that the JB weld would hold. Much better idea than the brass shim material as I could see that not holding as well as this jb stuff.
Am surprised to see you went the GSE route as opposed to just the factory EPS. Even more so since it has been well documented via this post and how based on your previous posts, you like to wrench on your sleds. I recall the GSE kit being on the salty side so was the lockout feature that...

Doesn't get more official than this:
You have to realize that these service manuals are divided up in sections (ie. chapters). If wanting to disassemble the steering, refer to Chapter 3 - Chassis (more specifically, pages 96/97 of 333).

I was just stating that once you become a VIP and receive the PDF version of it, you would then be able to use the Adobe Reader to view/zoom/print the pages contained within it.
Along with the W-arm, I would also check the suspension rails as they were also know to crack. So much so, Travis of Barn of Parts offers rail savers for the Mono but also has some images of cracked rails on his site to familiarize yourself.
More importantly, with having an electronic copy as opposed to a hard copy, is the fact that you can zoom in on the images depicted in the service manual.
