I have been running the Storm 1.5 2 ply for a couple thousand km's now fully studded 4 per row down the middle and am happy with its traction over the stock track.
I have lost one lug but I think that was due to some rather large sharp large exposed rocks early in the season.
I have Dupont...
I have had the aggressive Snow trackers on my Curves for a few thousand km's now. Don't waste your time with the semi aggressive versions. They track real well as has been reported above with zero darting. They also provide lighter feeling steering. They do push a bit in loose snow but I also...
Can send some chain case upper gear shims my way? I don't recall there being an inside shim the last time i had it apart for some reason.

Mine lasted about 7000km before it tore a 4 double backered studded section out of it. It was tuned 275-290hp pretty much since new and i drive it hard :).
If you get 10oooKm i think thats great with this much power.
I upgraded to a 1.5" storm track and love it so far. It hooks up much better!
I had a similar issue with my Sidewinder and it automatically added 10,000km to the odometer from the trailer across the parking lot to my dealer! My dealer ended up ordering me a new gauge cluster. The vehicle speed sensor detached itself.
The Elka stage 5’s are not too stiff, in fact they aren’t stiff enough as I need to have mine firmed up. I am 240 with gear. I like the Elkas stage 5’s but prefer the Custom Axis i had on my Viper.
The tunnel will bend if ridden hard with the larger gas can towards the back. Don’t ask me how I know...;)
You can easily build a aluminum plate like I did and fit two fuel cans for Torco back to back, one large Linq stackable gas can with an optional medium bag on top as well as a second linq...

I removed the factory tail bag on my 137", made a plate out of aluminum which i powdercoated satin black, mounted it to the tunnel and mounted Skidoo Linq brackets for a stackable gas can with a bag on top (if needed) with a second bag behind it.
I then modified (cut the backs off and joined...
I had the exact same issue as you did with my tunnel bending in the middle so I ended up making a 1/4 thick aluminum plate that fits over the rear tunnel section and overhangs a bit. It is large enough on my 137 to accommodate two link q bracket sets back to back and I can now use the medium...
I have tried a few of these but keep losing them! It seems like an ideal spot for scratchers and they do work well but they keep getting caught and ripping off.
