Check your relay in the foot well if you touch one of the wires with a dummy tester it will click and you can start hearing the pump work. If this happens it is most likely the relay next to the battery. After weeks of diagnosing mine(and soldering the ground blocks together) I finally found...
I checked the relay next to the battery and it was a little corroded, so I cleaned it with sandpaper (didn't have dielectric grease so I'll have to do that later).
Still no power to the fuel pump so I checked the footwell relay and noticed something odd.
With the power on I put my dummy...
As you may have guessed by the title I'm not getting any power to the fuel pump. I've already replaced all 4 of the relays in the foot well and cut out and soldered the ground blocks. If I add a small amount of gas to throttle bodies manually I can get the sled to run very briefly.
How do I...
Checked both of them and the fuses on the side.
Got the fuel pump to work by running a wire from the battery to the pump also got it to work by pulling the replay apart and running power to the middle wire. This wire has not shown anything with my tester both with the key on or off until now...
'06 GT with around 3k miles on it.
I am not getting power to the fuel pump and no relay click. I have tried a new fuel relay and am getting power to one of the relay wires with the key on&off and power to another wire when the key is on. So I'm assuming it is working correctly, but I don't...
Snow disappeared taking my interest with it so the sled sat in the garage all summer, but the snows on its way back so I figured I should bring this back to the top for a few more suggestions.
I'm going to check what actionjack and blue er mentioned. I'm not sure how to check the stator, but...
Unfortunately have to bring this back to the top.
Finally got some decent snow and some time to ride, but the sled wont start at all now. No Relay click or fuel pump. Tried with and without the speedo wire plugged in. Wiggled the main harness to try and find a short and nada.
He's thinking...
We had a warm up and rain that killed all our snow so I haven't messed with the sled much other than taping the ground blocks back up after checking them, but we have been getting dumped on and decided to go for a ride today. So with a new fuel relay in hand we pulled the sled out and she fired...
All three ground blocks looked good(does the cover come off the small black one?) and double checked the battery connection.
Ordered a new relay($20), even if it's not the problem at least I will have a spare.
cycle select sensor looks good(or what I am assuming is the cycle select sensor).
When it starts the flashing lights go away, they only come on when it doesn't want to start. It will keep cranking and wont fire. Then give it a couple moments and it will fire right up like there is nothing wrong.
Plenty of oil, I did a oil and oil filter change a few weeks ago.
Yesterday...
Backfired while just starting to get on the gas. It only happened 2-3 time yesterday.
When it happened today it was like he accidentally hit the kill switch(his first thought).
Based on the name I'm assuming the sled would have to roll over for this valve to work, correct? If so what stops the throttle from sticking and taking out a tree, that's what I would be more afraid of.
Just replaced the battery with a brand new one, connections were nice and tight two days ago. The sled ran great for the first 25 miles, it did however backfired a couple times yesterday(we finally got enough ride-able snow yesterday).
I also just changed the old CR10EK plugs with 4 new ones...
Wanted to update this thread with the results.
Ordered a new Yuasa YTX20H-BS for $90.00 and changed out the plugs with new CR10EKs. The sled started right up and ran great, until today(more info Here).
Thanks Everyone for the help. :rocks:
Today after riding approximately 25 miles we stopped to fill up my rev after that we continued riding. About a mile later my pop's 06 GT died with no warning. He tried to start it back up and it wouldn't start, but the engine and bottom warning light flashed. We waited a few minutes and it...
