Ok so we got this tank dissected & the venting chamber is nothing like the factory , it has way to many holes in it no wonder the oil was being forced out the vent tube , here are some pics of the inside of the custom tank & the factory tank

Going to be cutting the oil tank open to see what we can do fix the problem

Well the custom tank builder says that there tank is built right but when we install the factory type tank back on the problem we had goes away , so im thinking that there tank is not made properly inside causing this sled to puke oil all over , this is there statement but they don't stand...

its the CFM performance one , first they made use the wrong tank & now this , so I don't have much confidence in them right now

nope , we installed a different tank & the problem seems to be gone

done the oil change again as per shop manual & still had the same issue , think we have an issue with the aftermarket oil tank

Oil tank was replaced as it was damaged , so yes the oil tank was empty, going to try it according to the shop manual procedure step by step

we will try that , just have never had that issue when doing oil change on the 06 vector we have

Drained oil from lower engine case & replaced filter , then put 3 L in the oil tank

nope

yes replaced with new tank , oil line at bottom going to engine & return line from engine to side of tank , vent hose at top of tank going to breather , retrieved 1 full L of oil while the engine was running & was still going

sled was in accident before we bought it , replaced right side suspension , oil tank (was crushed) , changed the filter put 3 l oil in , started sled then oil started coming out bottom of breather , shut it off , pulled the breather apart & was full of oil , checked the oil & toped it off , ran...

2011 Vector 1200 kms , having issue with oil coming out the vent line from the oil tank , any ideas ?
