    closing the holes

Pat, What is the benifit of the heat tape? I left the front hole open and only closed in the rear hole in the same fashion as you using the tool box bolts and 4 rivets, two in the middle, two at the front. Paul

    After break in........

Thanks for the reply's Gents! I have always used Yamaha oil in both my two stokes and in my Vector. rfabro - I was thinking that full synthetic would be better for the motor, especially on cold starts. Thanks for the advice. I'll stick with the Yamalube4 0W-30. Paul

    After break in........

Is everyone using the Yamalube4 motor oil, another semi synthetic oil or full synthetic. I was thinking about using a full synthetic now that I have 1500 km on my GT. Thanks, Paul

So who was Happy with the Phazer for 2007 ????????

I too have 1500 km on my GT and I am very happy with it. I did have to cover the tunnel hole though. It's hard to ride this sled with out a smile on your face. :4STroke:

    Darting Phazer

I find my Phazer GT darts considerably since putting on a better set of carbides (6" on a 1/2' bar). I have the ski shocks set on soft, the front skid shock set on 4 and the rear spring on med. What have you done to help eliminate darting? Oh Ya, I love this sled. :yam:

Cold weather riding are the Phazers cold compared to normal

I find the wind protecion on my GT is great! I would even say its a little better than my Vector. :4STroke:

    OMG... she ain't that heavy!

Both my 4 Strokes are on steel dollies now, the plastic ones just couldn't handle the weight of a real sled. I never broke any but they flexed to the point where they wouldn't roll worth #*$&@. :4STroke:

    Rear Shock-05 Vector

Thanks Grimm! I had a feeling that was the case. I wanted to make sure before I reinstalled the skid only to have to remove it to change the shock. Think Snow!

    Rear Shock-05 Vector

Just finishing changing wheels, bearings and slides on my 05 Vector. Is the rear shock supposed to extend after it is compressed? Seems mine only does not. There is a good restriction when you compress it by hand and will only return if I pull it back. (same amount of restriction) Is this...

Phazer Mt 60 miles, Thoughts and reviews

Would you consider the Phazer to be under powered on a groomed trail?
  13. Blue Giant

    Do I have this right??

The 05 Vector does not have monoshock, if the sled has an issue with tors fault code 84 the CDI box will be changed, If it has a clutch rattle they will insall a shim (washer) if your vin# falls within a certain production number it will have the jackshaft replaced. Idler whhels are just a poor...

    No Rebound!

Holy Cannoli! I forgot all about this thread. My wife has taken to this sled like a bum on a bologne sandwich. She refuses to let me go near it, ride it, or adjust it in any way. I did get a chance to sneak it out for a short rip and it is definitely much better, actually it could stand to be...
