Set my Vector onto some Doo dollys and look what happened. The question, are Doo dollys junk or is my Vector too heavy?
Actually when I brought it into the garage, one dolly hit the floot drain and I heard a crack and saw a broken dolly. So I put a steel dolly under that ski and then the other dolly broke. I can't say I recommend plastic dollys, LOL.

Both my 4 Strokes are on steel dollies now, the plastic ones just couldn't handle the weight of a real sled. I never broke any but they flexed to the point where they wouldn't roll worth #*$&@.

Well of course they broke...Everbody knows you can't put Doo parts on a rice burner!!!! They're totally incompatible!
Seriously though...plastic dollies as a whole are junk. ESPECIALLY the ones with plastic wheels (like those pictured). I've broken a set or two on 2 stroke sleds over the years...they're especially brittle when it gets extremely cold out. I've NEVER had a steel set break...even the cheapo ones.

I made a set like the ones posted above. I had a bunch of bogie wheels off of a sled that I parted out. I used a couple pieces of channel iron and some cable. They work great and have about $15 into it.
I have ran mine across the parking lot at 25+ MPH and they work great.

I like the idea of using some old bogies and making your own. I've got enough parts lying around that I could make something work!
