What do you exactly mean by adding clearance. My stock protectors run all the way back and go over the rear cooler ( I bent them when installing and then bent back. Reinforcing them with some brackets on the side just in case). My plan was to add the hyfax like yours. Not sure why i am confused...

Ordered the rear cooler...should be in tomorrow. In the mean time I installed the scratchers, will try them out this weekend. Definitely will be adding the eye hooks as they are already scratching up my rail
Looks like the consensus is to put the rear cooler in. I took a quick look underneath and it looks like ill have to cut a small section of the protectors out to fit the cooler. Seems like a pretty straight forward install to me?
