Ok it could be normal. I mean I don't hear anything grinding and it switches in reverse with no issues and it switches back in forward but when I apply gas it's still in reverse until I shut the machine down then restart it and then it goes forward. Really really strange.

The manual says to be on the ODO mode then press the select button for 10 seconds while the machine is not running. "ODO mode" do they mean that the screen is showing the ODO mileage? I just want to make sure that I am doing it right. :)

Hi maim... I have hold down the select button for 10 to 40 seconds and nothing is flashing on my display... I am confused why this is not working :(

So I might or may not need to remove the seat... I guess Yamyrider and I will tackle the task on hand once I get the seat which should be tomorrow. I will update the thread with the results and pics. :)

That is awesome to hear... a friend thought that I would have to take the seat off etc.... I am looking forward to installing the seat. Did the seat come with install instructions? This is the seat that I purchase with the adjustable handles...

I am a newbie and I just bought the Jack Seat from Royal Distributing and I am expecting it soon. Can anybody tell me how long it took to do the job from start to finish? Also does the seat come with install instructions? Thanks in advance

Hi guys... new owner of a 2007 Yamaha Apex ER and I was wondering if holding the Select button for 10 seconds is the procedure to follow for my sled. If that's the procedure well that doesn't work for me. Maybe the sled needs to be running? Any advise would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
