I'm probably too late posting this but my hitch bolts broke more than once. They are metric. The only reason they break is if they come loose. Once I put blue lock-tite on, they never broke again.
Bridgestone Mud Xtremes
Bought a new Kawi P700 to add to the stable. Mounted 26x12-12 and 26x9-12. I'll post a few pics if you haven't seen them yet. They are about as heavy as a 589 and work great on trails and in the snow. Haven't tried them out in the mud yet though. Too much snow on the ground.
I have Mudlites on the Grizz and have installed 26x12-12 Bridgestone Mudhooks Xtreme on my Prairie. They are an awesome trail and snow tire. I haven't tried them in the mud as I bought them late in the year. I'll post a pic. They are a little heavy though...around 30lbs a piece for the rears.
Well, I took my Grizz into the dealer and they already knew about my belt and clutch problem from a previous visit. Right away they were back on their heels defending the warranty issue. They kept telling me that I sunk my quad. I didn't appreciate them assuming anything as they didn't even...
My clutch has been sucking in water. Once through the center of the cover. (the 2 bolts fell out) and another (clamp got bent from a stick or something) and was sucking water. Dealer says they got her fixed up. I sure hope so.

Ya, he rides a KVF650 and the thing will wheel stand just about anywhere. I rode it and was impressed with the power but that was about all. Plus the thing is fugly. That's what I kept telling him all day long. Anyone else agree?
I just put some blue lock-tite on my exhaust bolt. It stays tight and the threads will never corrode with that stuff on them. As far as a plug check, mine is running a little lean so I'm going to put on a K&N and then do my tuning.
You know, this quad was so good to me right off the get go. I went riding the other weekend and this POS keeps sputtering every deep hole(steam). Shuts off every so often(fuel tank vent) check ball thingy! The reverse limiter needs to go because I couldn't back my way over a frozen turd at the...
I've got a Garmin with a handlebar mount and just mounted it on the front rack. I also hard wired it directly to the quad battery so there is no need for batteries and it doesn't shut down when I turn the quad off.
I guess this is what happens to a guy after he takes advantage of a buddy stuck in a mudhole.....some time during the day, I'm bound to get stuck myself and he blasts me back.
