This is different from what mine does mine only makes that whistle noise when you’re sitting on the seat with or without the engine running

Does the noise only occur when you were sitting on the seat? Or does the noise occur when you’re off the machine standing beside it? Mine does it but only one I’m sitting on the seat. The noise you hear is the fuel tank Venting air... this is normal

I had to have experienced exactly what you have described. Tried Arcitic Cat and Pilot ski's. The Manual Power Steering kit made the bars easier to turn and eliminated all feedback to the bars. The kit just plain works and is very easy to install. Travis makes great stuff.

With original belt

2017 LTX-LE with 2900 miles on original belt. I ride 95% trails and a few lakes. No modifications to the sled the only thing I’ve done is belt deflection adjustments with shims on the secondary clutch.

I started on the farthest hole from the spindle (provides easiest steering). After riding for several days and moving it around I prefer the middle position. I will continue to evaluate as riding conditions change. During the off season I will have it powder coated to match my blue spindles.

I rode that ZR 7000 limited 137 for 3,000 miles. Never had a complaint with steering effort. When I spring ordered my LTX LE I assumed it would be about the same since the chassis is the same???

The Motors are different . 7000 is the 3 cyl 1049 Yamaha Motor. Skis are different too. I even swapped the center shock and spring assembly from the ZR7000 over to the Sidewinder with that assembly I could lighten up the steering more but not enough to suit me and it was still heavier...

No my ZR 7000 is a 137 skid
