Well let's hope we're back on an upswing here as far as snowfall goes for the next decade. Maybe our Sidewinders will regain some value! Not that it really matters...I won't be parting with mine any time soon! Sure would be nice to get back to the more snowy winters on a regular basis though.
What are the differences between the XTX and the Mountain seat if any in a size perspective? The late model XTX LE all seem to have a heated seat while the SE models do not
Check out Tracksusa.com or sledtracks.com for a 141x 15 3.0 pitch track. Give Country Cat a try as well. Don't think you will find a pre studded in a1.75 lug though. Look for a back country 1.75" if that's the lug height you're looking for.
Sounds about right Tim, I was kinda surprised there was no contact at all with the 1.74" with some pretty good sag on lift. Was also really surprised that track had stretched as much as it did. How are you doing? Are you back from the mend yet?
I've never seen any contact anywhere in the tunnel without running any protectors with the 1.575 Mega Bites in the last few years on 5 Winders in our group and 1.74" Mega Bites in my XTX LE which I did notice a good amount of track stretch on that 146" after an 8 day trip. It was a bit loose...
Seems like the decent snowfall is pretty widespread this year so no one place is crowded and the trails are holding up nicely with the bigtime effort of the clubs grooming consistently. Reminds me of how it used to be.
I left home for our annual trip to Northern Maine last Friday with a fresh 10 inches of useless snow in MA. That made over 4 ft in 3 weeks home. There was MUCH less snow 7 hrs north, but they really do an unbelievable job maintaining the trail system. Riding has been top notch all week with...
Should hold 20 lbs of pressure and have a very slow bleed. Same exhaust in both sleds? Guys use the stock shields over a non stock exhaust. Sled hitting 112 @ 8200 RPM is way too heavy and needs weight taken out of the primary. Other sled isn't getting fuel or not making boost.
Garmin devices are very finicky with power cords. I always have a spare for this reason. Sounds like an older device if it's micro USB as they have gone to USB C. Just make sure your at 5v max with a 3 amp fuse. You should be able to get a USB C to USB micro converter on the cheap.
I find there are clearance issues with the high torque rollers so you may need to do some grinding to get them to clear. You will see what I mean when you install them. I mini die cast grinder with a burr bit works good.
Rich our group rode last year in thin cover and it seemed to be better conditions than the previous year which was really hard on idler wheels. I thought the stock 146 cobra on the XTX must have been laying over exposing the Stud Boy Super lites to damage because in 7 seasons I never broke a...
I will ad, and I say that with no disrespect for the guys using/wanting to go this route. The way I see it is the pads may slightly warm the case but there is a big air space between the case and the cells not to mention the pc board in there for the BMS.
