I ran mine on groomed trails and lakes in upstate NY. I checked it a few times with no snow build at all in the air box. Stock intake is open but I also ride the back of the pack, so not much snowdust......SS

I ran it last winter and noticed cooler intake temps.....SS

I sent Dave @ Hurricane a data log and he found it right away. Boost leak between throttle bodies and the engine. Trimmed down the spacers on the clamps as per his recommendation. Problem solved. SS

How is the the new STM Rage 3 WSP Primary clutch working out ? Is it quieter than the original STM Rage 3 ?

Mine occurred on an aftermarket 1 inch camoplast (with stud holes) track that the dealer exchanged upon sled purchase, so they are fighting with camoplast for me...in the mean-time I still had to pay for the labour to install new track, fu&*ed slides and time to remove and re-install studs. ie...

So did I , I lost every clip but two...dealer says clips got real hot and melted off/or cracked from heat from running on ice. Never experienced this with any other sled. I do agree that these yamaha skid frames sure do suck on ice conditions.

Bigwin, I am not Spenc. I obviously bought a kit from Spence just like you did. I just wanted to pass on my findings and comment that I was pleased with the performance of the Proline Kit. It's really too bad that certain individuals have reacted negatively to my report. Good luck with your Kits!

MrSled: Consider this problem reported. 1chopper, I'd have to agree with you that running revs on high side seems to work quite well. My Proline Kit runs between 10 600 and 10 900 as I posted earlier and pulls very hard.
