2009 Vector LTX GT - no start troubleshooting

I replaced a battery this year and found after a month it was dead. YUASA apparently are not like there once were. Any chance the battery is failing? Will it start with a jump start pack?

I like my stuff disconnected when in the garage. #garagefire My fathers garage burnt down due to a short in a vehicle... At any rate here is what I ended up doing. Bought a used negative lead. Ran a line up to a quick disconnect that I picked up on Amazon

    No Start Dead battery?

Sled was running fine a month ago. I normally fire them up every six weeks in the off season. Went out tonight and nothing not even a click. Put the battery charger on and it wouldn't begin to charge. Put booster pack jump starter and it would immediately go into fault mode. Could the battey...

Rs Vector /Apex loose steering fix

I found a simple fix to pretty much eliminate the loose steering on these machines. Last summer I replaced every bushing in the front end and much to my dismay it did little to nothing to fix that play between the handle bars and the skiis. Replace the found thin bushings in the ski spindle...

    Rouski Wheels

You are correct with respect to bolt length. You need 1.5 x diameter. My current engagement is 12.8mm. Not dramatic but I am certainly going to upsize as you suggested.

    Rouski Wheels

Installed on 2010 ltx gt I installed yesterday, very easy install. At the same time I replaced the. Small babbit bushings in the spindles. That really took any slop out of my steering. Wow! The Gap. Yes I understand what the person above was talking about. The shaft seems to be too short. I...

Inexpensive Navigation system - Garmin Nuvi

I have the 1490. I just plugged in the Ontario Snowmobile micro sd and then went into settings and turned the map on. Worked perfect. The breadcrumb trail is also turned on thru settings. Its a hidden setting. I found out how to turn mine with a quick google search.

    Rouski Wheels

I bought a set of Rollerskis. Sled is apart now. Installing new bushings in the spindles. The rollerski does not use the coller and bolt assembly that normally holds the ski in place and allows it to articulate. Figure its prudent to change the bushings before installing wheels. Plan to...

I rely on the trackback feature ( breadcrumb) its really nice when running lakes as you know coming home that you are on the same route as when you were heading out. I also like it as I have been turned around on the trails and it can be handy finding your way back

Trail Hack - Map location of tools and emergency supplies

Between my wife and I we have a ton of emergency supplies on our sleds. Rather than pulling everything out on the side of a cold trail I took a picture and mapped the location of the supplies. My friends laughed at me and my OCD but honestly it is a life hack. I have had to utilize several...
