I just threw that kit on my Viper! It made a world of difference in the steering and handling when off trail!

Would there be a benefit with going to a sidewinder pump with a 190 MPI kit?!?! Especially when bigger injectors are added? Seems like it would be more beneficial if it was a 240 or 270 kit.

I kinda figured that would be the case. I have a message to the guy asking how he went about installing it and what not.

I came across a Turbo Viper for sale on Facebook the other day. In the list of upgrades he mentions the use of a sidewinder Fuel Pump and surge tank assembly. Im just curious as to how this would work and what the benefits would be over the stock Viper pump?

Looks like Hurricane Preformance has a intercooler for the viper for the low price of $1,200... if it actually is available...

It shows available on their website and i found it on Yamaha Sport Plaza website. I know for the Viper the racewerx bumper is almost non existent

You'll need the 08 or 09 MTX spindles. Just realized I didn't specify. Look on Ebay for used spindles. I've seen them for $150 to $200 each. Partzilla.com wants about 250 to 260 a spindle

I don't think timbersled makes anything for the nytro anymore... aftermarket stuff is pretty hard to come by for these sleds anymore. Maybe you could come across something on Ebay. I felt like the 34" was good on trail. It seemed tk handle just fine on the trails. I mostly ditch banged that...

Depends on how the throttle bodies are on a sidewinder. My intercooler is really tight against my steering post. I'm not sure of the 998 motor layout

You are probably right it needs some fine tuning. For the time being I'm not really going to worry about it. DynoJet sent me instructions to "Reset" the PC6 not sure if I should go through with it or not. I'll just wait to hear back from Ulmer.

There isn't a switch inside the throttle itself. My guess is throttle cable is out of adjustment or is somehow stretched or a bad TPS
