I’d start with track tension and check your cogs

I started my upgrades after finding a list of common sidewinder problems. Thank God I did. The upper gear was bad, the front slider axle was bad, and now the driveshaft worn in from the bearing spinning.. All this on a 2019 Yamaha SRXLE with less than 2000 miles on it. Not exactly quick fixes

Just finished removing factory bearing from the housing. the bearing seemed fine. I slipped it back onto the shaft and was able to wobble it back & forth. Would this indicate that the shaft is worn and bearing spun?

Thank you. Now, do you have any tips on getting the bearing out of the housing? Harbor freight bearing puller or is there some trick I’m unaware of? I’m installing BOP bearing, I assume I’m going to have to cut the seal out of that bracket while it’s hanging in place

Why do you need to split the caliper? I got the caliper off the shaft. Do you believe we need to split the caliper to get the bearing out?

I understand. I was kinda thinking that too. The lift is really screwing things up... Good news is I happen to have one of those jeep hard top hoist systems already there. That tunnel looks nice in white

Thanks. I think I need to take that top bolt off the front shock. It’s a bitch to get at though. The entire assembly is a couple inches too far forward. Perhaps the shock is causing that to happen

Yes. I slid the shaft into the slots and now trying to move into position. can't find much info

Can't get the aftermarket shaft to line up with the holes. the entire skid moved forward. I have it on a lift with suspension hanging

do you need to drop the skid to swap the shaft out? Is there any video or instructions?
