I saw a seadoo yesterday at the mooring, gave the guy a ride back to the dock. He seemed like he really liked the PWC and I thought the front storage was pretty cool, the yellow and black just reminded me of a Doo, I kinda laughed. Honestly I'm not up on that whole market, I prefer boats. I do...
BRP took over Evinrude, seems that didn't work out for them all that well. More than likely people who sled also go boating...I think Yamaha cleaned BRP's clock in that area.
I'm sure there will be plenty of parts for our sleds in the future. I have a BRP Etec outboard engine, they are out of...
totally correct to ride right and stay in control but its also nice not to have to take your hand off the bars to give a signal. I've given rock lights to friends for Christmas and they initially didn't want to use them...now they actually like them.
I can tell you first hand Rock Toyz stands behind their product. BOP has a good quality splitter to double the use of the jack. the flashing yellow caution is great to let oncoming sleds know to use extra caution if riding with newbies. the lights are a great safety tool and seeing allot more...
I put on USI triple threat skis with Stud boy dually's and they work great on the 146 track, 1.25 lug, no studs...I mean they are awesome. if you have an unlimited budget you may want to try them. Joe
I thought they were expensive but at the end of the day they are a great ski. I run 6" stud boy duel's also very expensive. I think they are excellent going down the trail and darting is not an issue. what is best with this ski is the front end floats so much better on ungroomed snow and get a...
I never hear about the USI Triple Threat Skis, these skis are awesome on the STX-GT. They really help float, I have aftermarket EPS and with these skis it's a great combo. Anyone else out there got the USI skis?
yes I did go for a quick rip with Steve, learned more leaning my ear in than I have ever. It's true, Steve almost did hit that moose, it came out onto the trail and Steve went flying by it lol...I couldn't believe it!!! The moose looked stunned too lol...it got it's bearing and walked off...
a few years ago I took a picture of sled tracks going over a cabin on trail 117 outside of Rangeley. The roof hung low and the snow drifted to the rafters, I couldn't believe what I saw..talk about off trail. Earlier in the same ride I saw the tracks going over a huge log pile , must have been...
unfortunately and sadly we had a fatality in western Maine in the town of Andover. Experienced sledder just miscalculated the ramp to a bridge. I nearly always stop my sled for oncoming traffic, best to keep it safe but as stated here the blind corners and high speeds is a combo for a problem.
happened to me once, put on scratchers and never had a problem since. like SRX70001 said, these sleds don't like low snow. It's a real sinking feeling when that over heat happens.
