Thank you for the reply. It appears that it is aluminum . Runs extremely well and quite surprisingly . Took it in to dealer to get it diagnosed . It's getting into unchartered territory and more in depth then my liking. Hopefully it can be repaired without digging into the bearings.

Bought it used, 500 mile on it. Not as far as I know. Dealer I took it took said engine was replaced. No more details other then that. It's the chain in a oil at all. Sorry never have had or seen onnw apart.

I have metal shavings in my oil. Did an oil change, had a light come on and an oil indicator on dash. Checked oil and it was where supposed to be. Wrode it about 12 miles ran fine other than the oil tank was hot to the touch. Came home got the plunger and dipstick free light went out. Wrote it...

Is there an o ring or gasket that needs to replaced when removing?
