    coolant overflow jug full

Good news! I left my sled parked with the skis on 5 gallon pails and the track on the ground and when I got home tonight all the antifreeze in the overflow jug has been drawn back into the system.

    coolant overflow jug full

Fingers crossed. I drove it across the lake back to the truck to grab my other sled and the temp gauge never went of 168... but it also didn't take any of the antifreeze out of the overflow jug

    coolant overflow jug full

Oil is at the proper level and the engine runs fine, no misfiring. I do have head studs and it didn't blow the plug out of the overflow jug like it was pressurized so I don't think it's a head gasket issue, but maybe that's just me hopeful thinking!!

    coolant overflow jug full

No. My sled has never been one to overheat nor have I had to add antifreeze to it.

    coolant overflow jug full

I ran my Thundercat on Sunday on race gas tune. I made a pass on it, then let my buddy try it. When he got back, he just shut it off as he coasted to a stop. A few minutes later it was dripping antifreeze out of the overflow jug. I started the sled 3 times and let it idle for around 45 seconds...

TD header, tune & afpr question

Looking through my logs, there are multiple 30-40 long second pulls. IMO, everything you need to know is settled long before that! The last 15-20 seconds at WFO is just hoping for another couple MPH.

    Need help… no boost

Well, after a few days of debating whether I wanted to tackle the job, I decided I’d at least pull the exhaust cam caps, rotate the cam upward and pull as many buckets as I could. While I ended up going too far and the cam came out of the head, I think I found my problem. One of the shims in...

    Need help… no boost

Perhaps, however it’s a brand new header because my last header broke at the bellow again. I can also stall the engine out by plugging the exhaust. Another member on the forum is going to boost leak test his sled to compare to the video I sent him of my sled. If anyone wants to see the video, PM...

    Need help… no boost

I can’t upload the photos for those 2 cylinders but they’re tighter than the picture I uploaded for cylinder 1, which is showing 11% leakage.

    Need help… no boost

My primary cause for concern is the 17.9 pounds of boost compared to the usual 19.4 that I typically see. Coincidentally, when I hook my boost leak tester up, that’s exactly where I can hear air start flowing the the exhaust, right at 18 pounds. Last time I tested this sled, I would get over 20...

You’re right, earthling. Anytime the throttle dips, the boost spikes.
