So I am looking at regearing my 2014 zr 7000 and will be taking the oil tank off to do this. When removing the oil lines from the tank will I have to bleed the lines somehow when putting the tank back on and hooking them up?
It was pretty straightforward the only thing was I only had socket style torx so needed one with some reach to take things apart. I put new heaters on the new bars but since then have switched bars and was able to use a heat gun and took the hot grips right off.
I thought about bending it back but if it bent that easy the first time be worried about bending it again or having it snap. They didn’t even bend the first time from a crash. I hit a hard sharp drift at speed and the force from that alone is what bent it.
Thank you had feeling they couldn’t be reused. Do you happen to know where the plug in located for the hot grips? Couldn’t see any connections unless there behind the control unit.
Riding my 2014 zr 7000 sno pro and bent my bars. Has anyone ever changed bars on these sleds and if so what’s all involved particularly with the hot grips? Thanks
